Playground Science Resource Kit – Upper

Use this kit alongside the Playground Science resource by the Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT).

Overview

We specifically selected resources to accompany the five different topics featured in the upper primary resource.

Enhance outdoor science learning with this practical playground science resource kit. Designed to support hands-on, active learning, the kit includes resources such as magnets, magnifying glasses, and binoculars to make science engaging through play.

These resources can be used alongside the upper playground science bags and activity cards, which are suitable for children aged 7-11 and provide fun and informal, self-directed science activities that children can carry out in their own playtimes. Simply add the resources to the playground science bags and use with the activity cards.
This kit aids in asking relevant questions, setting up practical enquiries, and conducting comparative and fair tests. The various items encourage exploration and scientific investigation.
