All About Me Feelings & Emotions Activity Set

Enhance social-emotional learning with interactive play figures and activity cards.

Overview

Features six distinct emotions represented in six vibrant colours, aiding in discussions about feelings and emotional expression.

This engaging set facilitates emotional and social learning in young children, supporting them in identifying and expressing various emotions through play. The included activity guide offers valuable ideas for using the figures and cards in emotional literacy activities to discuss emotions, contributing to emotional literacy in classroom settings.

By incorporating elements of play, this resource aligns with early childhood education techniques, enabling children to explore feelings like happiness, surprise, and sadness. These activities are instrumental in developing empathy and understanding of personal and others’ emotions.
Additionally, the figures double as counters, providing opportunities to integrate early numeracy skills through sorting and matching activities. This dual-purpose use encourages not only emotional development but also cognitive skills, making it a multifaceted tool for early learning environments.
