TTS Large Flat Wooden Water Channelling 5pk

A set of waterproof wooden channels that can be used as bridges between different areas.

Overview

Ideal for water channelling accessories, sand & water play, and Active World trays. Can also be used as bridges.

These wooden water channels help children explore how things work. Made from pre-treated Scandinavian Redwood, they are guaranteed against rot and insect infestation for ten years. The waterproof varnish ensures durability. Use these channels in sand & water to create pathways for small boats or other objects, encouraging imaginative play and problem-solving.

In the EYFS curriculum, these channels support ‘Understanding the World’ by enabling children to explore forces and observe water flow, fostering curiosity and scientific thinking. They provide a hands-on way to understand water movement and gravity.
For ‘Expressive Arts & Design’, these channels offer flexible resources for imaginative play. Children can build bridges, create waterways, or integrate them into larger play structures, supporting creativity and collaborative play.
