Feelings and Emotions Book Pack 11pk

A selection of books about emotions aimed at helping children understand their own emotions and those of others.

Overview

Ideal for teaching about feelings, building relationships, and recognising emotions in educational settings.

Designed to promote personal, social, and emotional development (PSED), this collection of children’s books about feelings facilitates a deeper understanding of emotions among children. By introducing concepts like happiness, sadness, and worry, these resources aid children in expressing their feelings and developing empathy towards others.

These books serve as an excellent tool to foster classroom discussions on emotions, effectively meeting the aims of the EYFS curriculum. Educators can use these children’s stories about feelings to guide children in exploring feelings beyond their everyday experiences, thus expanding their emotional awareness in a safe and nurturing environment.
Additionally, the pack supports early reading skills, with narratives that are both engaging and educational. The inclusion of various emotions in different contexts helps children to enhance their literacy while simultaneously developing crucial emotional intelligence skills.
