Masterplay Midi Cricket Set

A set designed to enhance cricket skills in children, ensuring safety and fun.

Overview

Made from high-quality moulded plastic, this cricket set ensures safe and effective cricket training for children.

This cricket set, featuring junior bats along with bases/stumps all housed in a handy holdall, is manufactured from resilient moulded plastic designed for durability and safety. The inclusion of softer balls aims to reduce the risk of injury, fostering an environment that encourages participation from children of all abilities. The equipment’s hi-visibility yellow not only makes it suitable for indoor use but also enhances game visibility, safety, and engagement.

In educational settings, the set supports teaching cricket skills effectively, assisting children in mastering basic movements such as running, jumping, throwing, and catching, alongside developing balance, agility, and coordination. This fosters an inclusive atmosphere, making it easier for teachers to introduce children to cricket in a safe and engaging way.
Furthermore, by being closely aligned with Physical Education curriculum aims for Key Stage 1 and 2, this set aids in increasing engagement in regular physical activity and sport. It also supports raising the profile of PE and sport across the school, contributing to whole school improvement by offering a broader range of sports and physical activities to all pupils, thus increasing competitive sport participation.
