Child-sized flip boards for desk-based time-telling learning.

Overview

Movable clock hands and colour-coded flip cards aid in understanding the relationship between analogue and digital time.

Designed for Years 1-3, these flipboards are an aid in the UK Mathematics curriculum for time-telling. Year 1 students start with learning how to tell time to the hour and half past, advancing in Year 2 to understanding time to the nearest five minutes, including quarter past/to. By Year 3, the focus shifts to estimating and reading time with accuracy to the nearest minute. These tools encourage active learning and make challenging concepts easier to grasp.

Using these flipboards engages children in their learning process, helping them retain time-telling skills. Movable clock hands and colour-coded cards help children learn to tell the time and demystify the relationship between analogue and digital time, aligning perfectly with curriculum goals.
The pack consists of 10 robust cardboard flipboards, each measuring H9 x W27cm. They are designed to endure the demands of daily classroom activities, offering a practical and effective resource for teaching time concepts.
