People Who Help Us Vehicles Jigsaws

A set of four photographic jigsaws of the vehicles used by people who help us.

Overview

Initiate discussions about why the vehicles are their respective colours and the noises they make, encouraging observational skills.

Engaging children in discussions about community helpers fosters their understanding of societal roles. These jigsaws feature high-quality photographs of emergency service vehicles, such as ambulances and fire engines, making them easily recognisable for children.

The jigsaws help children understand various occupations and the world around them. They support the EYFS Curriculum in areas like Understanding the World and Physical Development. Teachers can use these puzzles to discuss different jobs and the purpose of specific vehicles. Assembling the jigsaws enhances fine motor skills for tasks like pouring and stirring.
Additionally, the puzzles align with the Mathematics area of the EYFS Curriculum. They come in varying levels of difficulty, allowing teachers to challenge children according to their abilities, promoting problem-solving and cognitive development. Constructed from durable materials, these jigsaws withstand frequent use in busy early years settings.
