Overview

Includes detailed teacher’s notes, a variety of scientific equipment, and a convenient storage tray for easy organisation.

This science investigations kit enhances learning with resources for various experiments, including night lights, rock samples, magnets, thermometers, cylinders, and beakers. It supports hands-on learning, encouraging children to engage in practical enquiries and fair tests, key components of the UK curriculum.

Teachers can facilitate lessons on working scientifically, setting up simple practical enquiries and comparative tests. For example, children can explore rock properties or investigate heating and mixing solids and liquids. The included teacher’s notes offer guidance for these experiments, supporting effective science lessons.
The kit helps children develop measurement skills using scientific equipment. By taking repeat readings and using thermometers, cylinders, and beakers accurately, children improve their precision in investigations, aligning with curriculum aims for Key Stage 2 science classes.
