Overview

This library includes six sets totalling 762 counters, each in a plastic jar with an activity guide for easy lesson integration.

Teachers will find this set of 762 counters invaluable for enhancing maths lessons. The variety, including teddies, bugs, fruits, and dinosaurs, offers many opportunities for counting, measuring, comparing, and sorting activities. Each set comes in a durable plastic jar for easy organisation and use, and the activity guide supports lesson planning.

In EYFS, these counters help children link numerals and amounts, providing collections for comparing numbers and supporting the EYFS Mathematics curriculum with hands-on experiences. Teachers can create engaging counting games for preschool, fostering early numeracy skills in an interactive way.
For Lower Key Stage 2, the maths counters aid in identifying, representing, and estimating numbers using different representations, aligning with the Number & Place Value topic. The variety in shapes and colours also makes them ideal for sorting activities, enhancing their educational value.
