Discount Translucent Magnetic Polydron Exploration Set Geometry & Shape|Problem Solving Activities

Overview

• Create imaginative and creative models using six different shapes, from 3D forms to spaceships and rockets.

• Teachers will find this set helpful for encouraging creativity and spatial awareness in the classroom. The translucent magnetic pieces allow children to construct a variety of models, enhancing their understanding of 2d and 3d shapes, geometry and shape properties. Made from super tough MABS, these pieces are extremely durable and designed to withstand frequent use.

• This set supports Year 3 mathematics by helping children make 3-D shapes with modelling resources, and recognise shapes in different orientations. For Early Years, it encourages exploring 2D and 3D shapes, fostering early mathematical skills.

• It also aligns with Year 2 mathematics objectives by helping children identify and describe properties of 2-D shapes, including sides and vertical line symmetry. Clear colours create visually engaging models, and open frame pieces add an extra layer of exploration.
