Role Play Wooden Doll Care Set

A beautiful wooden doll care set, allowing children to nurture and care for their dolls as a baby.

Overview

Children can mimic how family members care for their younger relations by changing their wooden doll’s nappy or potty training them.

In early years settings, imaginative play resources are essential for encouraging creativity and social development. This wooden doll care contains a wooden potty, soap and moisturiser, a fabric carry bag, changing mat plus a nappy. These items encourage children to take on different roles in the role play area, helping to develop nurturing behaviour and empathy through pretend play.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, the set supports communication and language development by allowing children to engage in expressive arts and design activities. They can create complex stories using small world equipment like role play wooden dolls and dollhouses, which helps develop creativity.
Additionally, the set promotes an understanding of adult behaviours and routines, such as nappy changing and potty training, aiding in developing children’s social skills and understanding of daily life. This makes it a valuable addition to any early years role play area.
